Can someone put a restraining order out on me?

Just for a text message? Im gonna keep this brief. It slightly was threating. A little 'beat your *** here' and 'I better not catch you breathing' there.... I also said I'm gonna whoop your *** before I leave this state. Its only 1 text message for any type of proof. It is possible to put out a restraining order on just that? Wouldnt they need more evidence to convince a judge/police officer that they're life were in danger....
